CAPVEST Income Corp. (TSX-V: CVS) announces Frank Potter and Philip Johnson elected to Board of Directors

TORONTO: CAPVEST Income Corp. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Frank Potter and Philip Johnson were elected to the Board of Directors at the Company’s annual general meeting on June 27, 2006. Mr. Potter and Mr. Johnson join John F. Driscoll, Jack McOuat, John Nestor and Richard Zarzeczny who were re-elected to the Board of Directors at the Company’s annual general meeting.

Frank Potter is Chairman of Emerging Markets Advisors Inc. in Toronto. He has an extensive background in international banking and is a former Executive Director of The World Bank. More recently, he was Senior Advisor at the Department of Finance in Ottawa. He sits on a number of boards, both corporate and not-for-profit, including Canadian Tire Corporation and the Ontario Financing Authority.

Philip Johnson is President of Pinnacle Reefs Ltd. Throughout his career, he has held numerous managerial and coordination positions at Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil in Canada and the United States. He is a director of several private sector corporations as well as a Vice Chairman of the North South Institute. He has served as a Member of the Board of CJCF Charitable Fund since 1973.

CAPVEST Income Corp.: The investment objective of CAPVEST Income Corp. is to generate capital appreciation and, to a lesser extent, income, through exposure to commodity-related investments, including commodity-related income trusts and the Rogers International Commodity Index (RICI).
