From Sentry’s award-winning equity fund family, three mutual funds also received individual recognition. They captured five 2011 Lipper Awards¹ for delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted returns compared to their peers:

• Sentry Precious Metals Growth Fund, managed by Kevin MacLean, earned the award for the best fund over one, three and five years in the precious metals equity category. The Fund has now been honoured with seven Lipper Awards since 2007, as well as Best Precious Metals Equity Fund at the 2010 Morningstar Canadian Investment Awards. Kevin also won back-to-back Brendan Wood International TopGun Awards in 2009 and 2010.
• Sentry Diversified Total Return Fund, managed by John Kim, earned the award for the best fund over three years in the Canadian focused equity category. This validates the Fund’s consistently strong results, including #1 ranking in risk-adjusted returns over three and five years in the Canadian focused equity category².
• Sentry Canadian Resource Class, managed by Kevin MacLean and Mason Granger, earned the award for the best fund over one year in the natural resources equity category.
